The Department of Chemistry and Physics at the University of Mary Washington invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Physics to begin August 2021. Ph.D. is required. All areas of physics will be considered, with preference being given to candidates with prior undergraduate teaching experience and a background in computational or theoretical physics.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop an original research program in his/her area of expertise, and preference will be given to candidates who will involve students in on-campus research.
